It helped him hone his craft. <br />Katie Bunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10975096826076558085noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3434387323023202399.post-69599513589723880622016-01-07T10:16:49.231-06:002016-01-07T10:16:49.231-06:00Hi Carolyn,

I would still try some of the above suggestions to try and build a relationship between you and the student first. Take it from there. Unfortunately there is no quick fix for attention seeking issues. I hope that this helps. He is constantly trying to get attention from other students. It could be just saying something out loud to get a reaction the another student.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08496148471859954098noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3434387323023202399.post-34997583021388123732016-01-07T09:26:49.319-06:002016-01-07T09:26:49.319-06:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08496148471859954098noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3434387323023202399.post-76659282968726904982015-10-18T22:54:37.446-05:002015-10-18T22:54:37.446-05:00Thank you for bringing this to my attention!Thank you for bringing this to my attention!4th Grade Racershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10991322059767162281noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3434387323023202399.post-35065112064082866562015-10-18T22:43:02.414-05:002015-10-18T22:43:02.414-05:00These are all great ideas- but, please, look into ...These are all great ideas- but, please, look into getting rid of the Scentsy. My daughter did an entire Science Fair Project about how TOXIC these things are. ALL the classroom wax, spray, and candle scents contain things called phthalates (of course they are not required to put it on the label) Phthalates can cause brain damage if used over a sustained amount of time. Well, read into it, you won't want it around your students or yourself. I have asthma (so do a lot of my kiddos) so, in our district, we're not even supposed to use air fresheners/wear perfumes to school in case it sets off a child's asthma or allergies.julibluehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00088749468311349578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3434387323023202399.post-45985231736274372402015-05-26T11:22:13.817-05:002015-05-26T11:22:13.817-05:00Great post with thoughtful ideas.
